Experience the magic at Cascade Lights, Coppermine’s outdoor holiday celebration at Coppermine Cascade Park in Hampstead, MD this season.

Join us for a half-mile of dazzling trees and trails featuring a choreographed light show. Enjoy several NEW attractions along with last year’s returning favorites.
Activities EVERY NIGHT include but are not limited to:
Choreographed Light Show • Light Tunnel • Festive (and Decorated) Playground Area • Santa • Holiday Movies • Crafts & Letters to Santa • Community Displays • Axe Throwing (18 & up) • Photo Ops & More
Food truck vendors, hot chocolate, and adult beverages (for those ages 21+) every night in addition to The Bus Stop’s favorites.

Tickets are valid for anytime within our operating hours. Once you have entered the park you may stay until the event has concluded.
Children 2 & under are free.

Cascade Lights FAQ's
Outside alcohol is not allowed but alcohol can be purchased on site. Cash and Credit Cards are accepted for all purchases for the food and beverage vendors.
Is there handicapped parking?
Yes, there will be Handicapped parking spots.
Is it stroller / wheelchair friendly?
Although we have smoothed out the land and limited any elevated steps this is still a trail (mulch, grass and gravel), therefore it is possible to push a stroller/ wheelchair but may be challenging in some areas on the property.
Can I bring a dog?
We invite dogs to attend the lights for special treats and pictures with Santa on Thursday, December 22 for the PUP STRUT. Dogs are not permitted on any other nights.
Can I bring a child to the Sip and Stroll?
The entire family is welcome every night, and certainly it is up to each family to decide which night is best.
How long is the trail?
Total walking distance will be approximately 1 mile. Possibly more depending on how many activities you choose to participate in.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
We encourage guests to purchase tickets in advance to avoid sold out evenings, however you may purchase tickets at the door if available.
Do you accept credit cards for purchases?
Yes
What if there is severe weather?
We will close for the safety of our guests, staff and displays. The tickets can be transferred to another date during the 2022-2023 season.
Are you open if it snows?
Definitely! Winter Wonderland! We encourage visitors to bundle up and wear comfy shoes!
